Never too late

Imaginext, Legos and Playmobils, that's life!

We had a birthday boy in April.  He turned 44 I think, sure feels like it, the way time flies!  Tommy is a crack up.  He comes up with the funniest things to say, more than my other kids did at that age.  Right now, Reed is in Deutschland for 10 days, and he just doesn't want to talk to him on the phone.  He told me this morning "I still love him, I just don't wanna talk". There you have a typical man, not willing to talk much but willing to love much!

It was the weekend of Father and Sons campout.  I didn't go, since I'm not a father or a son, but I live with a bunch of them, so I get to use their picture for MY blog.  Don't ask me where they went and what they did (thus the ? at each picture).  All I know is that they came back dirty and smelly, which is why it's only for boys!
 Bossing Tommy?
 Has to pee?
Arizona grass sliding.  We used a cardboard on grass in Belgium, but butt and dirt works too.
New paint job for the black car.
 Throwing rocks at dirt?
That one is from my friends, I don't see my own kids in it!

Teacher Appreciation Week

I know, you're impressed! It really isn't my style to 1. remember it's appreciation week and 2. to act upon it!  But hey, I'm going to Mother of the year award this year, so there. I think you can get a vote from your teacher, so that might make up for all the negative votes I get from CPS, right?

Market on the Move

A few weeks ago, I made it to the Maket on the Move .  You can get up to 60lbs of produce for a $10 donation, which is tax deductible too since it's a charity.  Click on the link above for more info and their next event.  Here is what I got for $10!!!!!

 Canning a case of tomatoes!!!

I'd say it was worth it!

Zoo Time!

It was zoo weather again, so off to Phoenix we went. Nicky played hookie from Kindergarden, which is probably okay, I think he missed learning the letter W , uich is not a big deal, ho needs uu's in life anyay!
We met up with an old friend (old as in my age, thus young but old for how many years I've known her, don't get me wrong here, or rong as Nicky will spell from now on!). Lots of pictures, lots of fun...although it looks like Tommy was not very much there with us, he was just too lazy to get out of his seat!

 We made a new friend
 Random kid and Nicky
 Fishing talk.
Quick trip south of the border.
 It does a body good.
 Tommy was chilly!
 Clam dip.
 Conquer, we must!

Ahhhhh, what a day!

Last soccer

Alex had his last soccer game.  That is one big heavy page to turn, 4 years of high school soccer.  I'm so proud of #13, what a grown man he is.  It was pretty emotional to know that was it.

Catching up!

I'm a bit behind on my blog.  This sweet "little" girl just turned 11 in January.  I really don't know how this happened, how could it have been 11 years since she joined our family????
She played Volleyball with the school too.  It was fun to watch, although a bit frustrating not to be able to go practice with her because of my dumb leg!

In January, the boys went to Motocross.  They make noise like this "vrooooommmmm" according to Tommy.  The girls and I just went to the movie that night.

The boys are still good friend
Well, not really, they fight all the time but then it's exhausting...

Then school started again and we got back on track...starting with Karate for Nicky!

He learned how to run away from a stranger on the first night, but if that stranger is your dad and he tickles you and grab you upside down, then you can't run away :)
