Spring has gone

After Tax day, life flies, doesn't it?! Not that I care about April 15th at all, but that was my last blog. So let's catch up before the awesome Belgium posts come. We are in Belgium right now, it's raining and a perfect day to just chill inside, eating junk food all day. Our months of April was full of fun with Easter and Tommy's birthday. May brought another birthday for Reed and the Missionary Skype Session of the year, well it's twice a year but it's so far apart that I don't feel like it's twice a year! I now have six months before I hold my Elder in my arms, so I can deal with the lack of Skype communication. I might even stop my murmuring and all...maybe.
So let's start the catch up with the Inmans game, shall we?

This must have been after an Ester egg hunt in Queen Creek, we must have caught a dorky looking duck with holograph? Quack.

Nurse Elly eating a piece of poop, wait, I think it's a Twix. That's the problem with blogging so little, I tend to forget details. We went to a World Fair in Gilbert in April, it was a bit lame but we got lots of free junk, and who doesn't love more little bags filled up with pointless cardboard games and stickers of electrical companies and such.

Free karate lessons, you give them your email and they will send you invites for their free self-defense classes every two weeks. Let me know if you'd like to be on their distribution list.

This is a piece of the Twin Towers, it is a monument for 9/11. That was a nice little gem to find a the World fair.

My roses are always gorgeous in April and May, then they hate life, summer, the heat, the dry dirt, and they show it!

It was a big month for my 12 year old...a unfortunate rights of passage than we parents, tend to inflict upon our children at the most vulnerable time of their lives!

BRACES

I think I took this picture for a research I am doing on proving that laundry can reproduce itself, like frogs.  I think Yale is interested, I just need to write the conclusion on my paper and insert this picture.

Easter Sunday

We are looking for donations, we can't afford socks for our baby.

Blurry pix of the birthday boy. It went like this: me -"Let me take your picture, birthday boy", Him- "I have to pee". me -"Just really quick" Him: thus the pose and the face!!!!

I totally over did it with creativity on his cake, I know, it's quite impressive! I have mad skills, but hey, it was home made frosting!

Nicky had a Patriotic Singing thinging
Liam is eating solid food at this point, of course. He has the festiest high chair cover too. Nothing but the best for my last baby. This is taken at McDonald's. By now, this chunky monkey likes to eat french fries, not baby gunk, he's pretty smart huh!

I think this is the best selfie ever.

Cortina had their annual Spring Festival. I couldn't get many pictures, but they had a petting zoo and random kids there too.

Mmmmmyeahhhhhh

Seriously, buying shoes with this cutie is so fun.

When I grow up, I want to be a fire fighter.

The more we play together, the happier we'll be. "Barney the Dinosaur"

He loves loves loves his sissy!
Happy Mother's day!!!!

I will end on the most ironic picture of this catch-up post!  Mr.Liam is NOT a sleeper, he cat naps mostly and doesn't sleep all night.  This was taken during the day, he probably lasted just enough for me to take a blurry quick snapshot.  However, this baby of ours is healthy, happy, has never even had a fever in his life. He eats good, poops good and is perfect in every possible way. So yes, he is a crappy sleeper, but I can't even begin to say how grateful I am to have such a perfect little gift in my life.

Life is good

Let's just face it, until we have established regular naps, as well as having my Ukrainian back, this blogging business is just going to be a catch up game. I am deciding right this instant to stop feeling guilty about my lack of documenting our fun eventful life, after all, the fact that there is fun events to remember is already plenty in life.
Nicky has asked me to play soccer for quite a few years.  The problem has always been two things on my part: laziness for one and forgetfulness for the other.  I was too lazy to have him go to practice and games, and I forgot to register him on time year after year.  I realize how much sports take out of the parents, my poor mom and dad, sitting in the rain, watching me play basket-ball, with the high winning scores of 4 to 6, on a fretful early Saturday morning! At least we live in sunny AZ, where the grass is yellow in the winter and they paint the soccer lines in green, while the rest of world's green grass and yellow lines are covered in snow.

We, of course, make it a family event! Well, at least one game anyway, I don't think I made it to much more this time...but Reed was there and that's important too.
Ah the Gilbert Temple Open House!!! What hasn't been said about that gorgeous new temple of ours? My boys loved the "diamond" chandelier the best.  We toured it a couple of times.  I realized that if Alex isn't back for the Phoenix Temple open house (supposed to be in the fall), I won't have my whole family inside a temple for many many many years!!!

Then there was this monkey, a monkey with a banana baba, some say his eyes are creepy, but that's because they haven't looked deep into the Sam's Club Banana Baba Monkey man, he is full of soft love I tell you, and he needed a home. We adopted him, he is happily living on the floor of Mr. Liam's room.

We like to exercise, it makes for strong bones and keeps your legs sexy.

We haven't figured out how to do the manly push ups quite yet, baby steps, baby steps...

So yes, I like stripes a lot, on me, on him, on anyone that let's me buy clothes for them. I do no plan my outfit to match his, but it just happens sometimes and we look like a perfect pair!

He hates food, the baby, not Reed.  He only like mommy's nam-nams (Reed likes them too), but we're trying. He makes the face of someone that has tasted poop, and a nasty smelly poop ...okay that would imply that some poops don't smell and that I have tasted some, I haven't, I promise, but I know what face I would make if I had!

We made our first trip to Grandma's house and Liam had a bonding moment with his fave Uncle Mark (he only has one Uncle Mark, so I can say that he's his fave Mark Uncle with no fear from the other many uncles - who don't read my blog anyway)

This awesome lady had a very milestonish birthday on March 3rd.  She is my best friend and confidant, she forged me and prepared me to become the person I am today.  She is a great example and I love her more with every year: ma maman.
Cette dame vient d'avoir un gros anniversaire le 3 mars.  Elle est ma meilleure amie et ma confidante, elle m'a formee et preparee a devenir la personne que je suis aujourd'hui. Je l'aime encore plus chaque annee!
Joyeux Anniversaire Moman

And it is my job to do the same as my mom has, prepare my children to be the best they can.

Live True

A word from our dear prophet about these great youth:

"The past six months have gone by quickly as the work of the Church has moved forward unhindered. It was my privilege just over a month ago to dedicate the Gilbert Arizona Temple, a magnificent structure. The evening before the dedication, a cultural event was held at the nearby Discovery Park. Twelve thousand young people performed a 90-minute program. The dancing, the singing, and the musical performances were outstanding.

This area had been experiencing an especially dry season, and I believe many prayers had been sent heavenward over the preceding several weeks for much-needed rain. Unfortunately, it came just before the performance and stayed for the entire production! Despite the fact that the youth were soaked through with the rain and chilled from the cool temperature, we all felt the Spirit of the Lord. The theme of the program, “Live True to the Faith”—think about that: “Live True to the Faith”—was portrayed magnificently by smiling and enthusiastic young men and young women. Despite the cold and the rain, this was a faith-filled and inspiring experience these young people will ever treasure and will be relating to their children and grandchildren in the years to come.

The following day, the dedication of the Gilbert Arizona Temple took place. It became the 142nd operating temple in the Church. Unlike the evening before, the day was beautiful and filled with sunshine. The sessions were truly inspiring."

My daughters had the chance to participate in something they will never forget: the youth celebration for our new Temple in Gilbert.  We had asked for dry weather, despite the prediction on every weather channels, but we all knew that His will would be done...and it was, and it rained, and rained, and rained. It rained enough to end a drought, it really did.  They were so wet, so soaked and yet, so determined to keep going till the end.  President Eyring said that they will never forget this day, and they won't!  They have been so proud to wear their "Live True" tee-shirt. Those shirts have become an icon of who you are, and other kids are asking why so many wear them at school and where they can get them. Twelve Thousand, 12,000, 12 K, that is a lot of Mormon kids loving their lives, loving their faith, loving their God

We did, we really did

As I stated previously, I'm behind...but enough about my behind. Let's prove that we do have a life outside diaper changing and baby feeding, not that it is a bad life in itself, I'm rather enjoying that part actually!
My brother and his family came to visit beautiful Arizona for 2 weeks at Christmas. They got to our house on Christmas day, right after Santa showed up and during our very much anticipated skype session with the best missionary out in the world.

We rented a car to take the Marquet grand kids to tour downtown. Liam is driving it so we didn't catch him in the picture.

If there is snow in Phoenix, then my previous picture caption was not a lie either!

We made a snowman, down town Phoenix, yes yes!

The little cousins followed their big cousin Xavier everywhere! He didn't mind, he is a sweet sweet boy of 15 who absolutely loved his little American cousins.

My brother skyped with his long time friend Matt, who had spent a year in Belgium his Junior year, back when my brother had a lot of hair, before he started copying Liam's hair do.

Tante Nanouche is so comfy, love love love the naps

They were trying to decide what to watch on Netflix, Liam wanted a documentary on the migration of the anchovies in Peru, but Tommy likes Ninjago better.

Getting bigger and bigger, this is at around 10 weeks.

This picture left from our house, to Ukraine, back to our house...wait, I'm not even sure this is correct. Alex took it during our skype session, You can see him in the corner.
Aren't those awesome! No I'm joking, these things are butt ugly and I wonder why in the world they would ever think that someone would pay even half price for it. I just couldn't resist taking a picture, $12.49, what a bargain, I should have gotten the whole lot...and don't get me started on the fish things in the back row!

The rest of the party, including my brother and his fam, went to a football game, the Fiesta Bowl non the less. So I spoiled my boys and we build a bear, because we really don't have any teddy bears at our house, none, really!

I myself, like the striped little orange bear, kinda cute.

Sometimes he's not happy

Sometimes he sleeps

Sometimes he plays

and a lot of times he smiles!

I do like stripes on him, or on me.

And he likes books.

and walks...and yes, this is mainly about Liam, Liam Liam Liam Liam :))))))))

Excuses

Wow, December is gone, January flew by and I heard March is already well underway...and yet, still nada on my blog. I almost feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with it. But yet, I don't want to just give up. I don't journal, unless you can count the half page I start every 6 months, mainly apologizing about the fact that I haven't journaled, as if any of my posterity will even use paper to read my life...and it's all half in French and half in English, not the journal, but the actual entries!
So to recap my life, I will post the main reason why I don't blog very much here. I do keep Alex's blog up to date, but it seems that his readers have dwindled over time, just like mine. So these excuses are not even needed, who am I apologizing to anyway? (and I cannot spell "apologizing" for the life of me, you'd never know because professor red squiggly is underlying it for me).
My little reason is staring at his fingers right now, his eyes just crossed since they are so close and fascinating, oh, and they taste so good...wait, where did they go?  And I would rather watch this miracle in front of me than find time to blog :)

Here is what Leanna Anderson at urbancountryphoto can do:

This one is for Alex, of course!
