Saint Nicolas

December 6th brought Saint Nicolas back from Belgium again this year.

He left the little Elf to help Santa, his good friend, check on the kids

My parents came to meet their 8th grandchild. 

I have a pix of my dad doing this with all my children, what you cannot hear is that most of the time, he is singing. Now my dad is NOT a good singer, but he signs for them, and it's most the time the song from his Army Regiment back in 1967, priceless :) They all fall asleep to the tune of their Belgian Papy singing.

My mom has always knitted.  Growing up, we always had sweaters. She made those booties and hat in no time, like a pro that she always was

One more nap and it was time to go back to Belgium :(((

I'm behind and so time to load up

I am a little behind...okay wait, that didn't come out right, I don't have a little behind really, well it's not that big, what I mean (geeezzzee) is that I haven't had the time to blog much lately.
