Thanksgiving

We kicked off Thanksgiving with a visit from our dear old friends from Germany, the Cordrays.  They now live in New Mexico, but Brian was our bishop in Munich 8 years or so ago.  They didn't stay for turkey day, helas.

 Here is your Master Chef.  This year, I did a brine for my turkey for 24 hours.  It was so moist and delicious, Alton Brown's Foodnetwork would have been proud of me!

That was the beginning of the end for my diet and work out regime...well, no, breaking my leg ended that a while ago.  It was yum, because I'm a great cook, so there!
